It was unexpected to join the school’s women’s national flag guard team and become the captain. I didn’t even know what this club does after becoming an official member. But it’s amazing that on the night of the freshman military training, the chief of staff approached me and dragged me to the guards of the National Guard, and asked, "Do you want to join the National Guard?" I was so fearful that I chose. The sick person nodded frantically without hesitation. As if it was a hint of fate, it gently said in my ear: "Don't let this opportunity pass, you belong here."
Occasionally I will sigh "Life is so wonderful". In high school, there was a four-star high school military training display competition. In the initial selection, I was drawn to display selection because of my height advantage. I officially entered the team and started the one-month "second military training". As a person who didn't have any hobbies and expertise since I was young, and even the dance performances in the kindergarten were used as a background board because of not being soft enough, I discovered my advantage for the first time and cherished this opportunity to show. I started trying my best to do my best. I stood in the heavy rain and in the sun in August, standing on my shoulders, shifting training in circles, and I never dared to report to rest. This mood is very similar to the kindergarten teacher who asks us to sit cross-legged and stay still during the line dance. I will never move, because I know that I must do my best to make up for the irregularities of other movements. , It is possible to get small red flowers. When I get older, the little red flower is a virtual reward I give myself, and I want to get it during training. I succeeded. After a month of training, I was finally placed at the top of the first row, a position to guide the rhythm of the entire team.
For a long time later, I only regarded it as a special experience in high school, but on the playground of the military training of freshmen, the chief of staff suddenly ran over to me and asked me "have you ever been a soldier" when everyone was standing in the military posture. Then I suddenly remembered that. Days of a month. Life always surprises you inadvertently. For example, when you are anxious about how you should join the college club and adapt quickly when you have no hobbies, it suddenly tells you that you were fully prepared three years ago.
The days when I was in the National Guardian were the days with the national flag. I carried it across the playground and watched it rise slowly. Because of the national flag, I had seen the most beautiful sunrise and sunset in Southern Chinese Medicine. Because of the national guard, I got acquainted a lot. Sisters and friends who tried their best to help me when I was in trouble. Two years have passed by in a hurry, and after encountering opportunities and then working hard to grasp them, I have such a moving scenery.




Microfluidics-a lab-on-a-chip full of possibilities
Joining Han Lab is an opportunity I never expected. When I became anxious about how to enter the laboratory and start learning as soon as possible, and even sent a resume to a biological company hoping to get a chance to learn experimental skills, Mr. Han Xin began to recruit undergraduates majoring in biotechnology. When the experimental skills were basically zero, I was fortunate to be able to enter such an excellent and energetic laboratory and to receive patient guidance and help from teachers and seniors. Although I have only studied for less than a month, I have been exposed to the basic knowledge and experimental methods of microfluidics and gene editing, which opened the door to a new world. "Shallow" truth.
In this interdisciplinary team of micro-nano manufacturing and translational medicine established in 18 years, I heard many outstanding seniors and seniors share the literature and experimental results in their research fields, and I am deeply impressed by the microfluidic chip technology. As a comprehensive interdisciplinary subject involving materials, chemistry, physics, micro-electromechanics, biology, medicine and other fields, microfluidics integrates important trends in modern technology development such as miniaturization, integration, and intelligence, and fully demonstrates the 21st century. "Anything is possible." In the atmosphere of the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I unconsciously think about how beautiful the sparks of the collision between the modernized "microfluidics" and the traditional Chinese culture of "Chinese medicine" will be. The modern development of Chinese medicine is an unstoppable trend. Hu Gang, member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Vice Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese Democratic League, and President of Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, said, “We must target the key areas of Chinese medicine and break disciplinary barriers. , To promote interdisciplinary integration, through the collaboration of talents, disciplines, scientific research and collaboration with external resources, to promote the in-depth integration of innovative elements, to achieve complementary advantages, and to take on the important task of the era of science and technology power"; member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, vice president of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Zeng Fang said, "Interdisciplinary is an important path to truly realize the high-quality and sustainable development of Chinese medicine." As a revolutionary technology platform, the development of microfluidic chips in traditional Chinese medicine is even more exciting.

Conclusion: The experience of Guohu made me understand that as long as I work hard and persist, my life will not fail you; joining Han Lab is the beginning of a new direction for me. Just like a microfluidic chip full of possibilities, I look forward to my possibilities in Teacher Han’s laboratory in the future, and believe that these possibilities will have bright prospects with the support of hard work.
